Tyler Brownell

About The Site

This is my space on the web to share my photographs; I will post a new photo hopefully almost everyday. You can leave comments to give me feedback or ask me questions. If you'd like to purchase a print, please contact me for more information.

About Me

My name is Tyler Brownell and I'm 21. I was born and raised in the outskirts of Toronto, Ontario in a small town called Bowmanville. After college I moved to Ajax, Ontatio (a little less far away from civilization). I started photography in mid-2006, but only started taking it seriously about a year later. I attended Fleming College in Peterborough, and am now working in my field.

Why I Do This

I simply love photography. This is a place where I can share my perspective. As a young photographer my skills are always improving and with every photograph something new is learned, so visit again to witness another view from my world, and who knows, maybe it will inspire yours.

Equipment

I've recently purchased a Canon 40D, Canon 24-105mm f4 lens and, for memory, I'm using a SanDisk 8GB Extreme IV. It's a really nice set-up and I'd recommend all three peices of equipment.

Inspirations

My father first introduced me to photography; I loved toying around with his old 35mm Nikon. Later on, photobloggers such as Aaron Wright and Sam Javanrouh motivated me to take photography more seriously and try to better my technique.
