This is my parents dog, Nicholas. My father constantly switches up what he calls Nicholas; using different words that sound like “Nick”, such as hick, or dick (when he’s bad). So during any normal conversation if you mention any word that rhymes with “Nick”, this little guy will stare at you with his cute little Ewok face tilted sideways, until you give him a cookie.
Poor little guy’s probably confused as a baby in a topless bar. Oh well, as long as he gets his cookie I don’t think it bothers him.

You also have a cat, right? I wonder If I introduce the dog to my cat when it will be in the ‘puppy’ stage.

That’s probably the best way to go about it. Introduce the cat to the dog when he’s young.
Yeah, something like this could always happen. ;)
